How Do I Use Voice Dial On My SGH-T929 (Memoir) Phone?
Nuance Voice Recognition is advanced speech recognition software that can be used to activate a wide-variety of functions on the SGH-T929 (Memoir) handset. Voice Recognition software automatically voice activates all phonebook contacts for voice dialing and searching, no pre-recording or training needed. Speak contact names or phone numbers naturally to call, and use voice commands to launch applications.
Note: Voice Recognition recognizes the digits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and zero or oh. The phone does not recognize numbers such as “one eight hundred” for “1-800.” Instead, say “one-eight zero- zero.”
To initiate a voice command session follow the steps below:
When it recognizes one of these commands, the handset launches the associated application. If Voice Recognition does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, Voice Recognition immediately places the call. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the phone prompts you with “Which Location?” and displays a list of options. You can select an option by saying it or by pressing on the displayed location.
