SCH-U550 Media Transfer Methods
Please Note: The Media Player does not necessarily support all features of a particular file format nor all the variations of those formats. The Media Player includes support for Digital Rights Management (DRM) which allows you to play some purchased or subscription content. These copyright protections may prevent some images, music (including ringtones) and other content from being copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.
To transfer music to a memory card from a PC follow the steps below:
To transfer audio files from a memory card to the handset follow the steps below:
Note: The audio files MUST be located in the My Music folder on the memory card
Caution: Do not remove a memory card from the handset or turn off the handset while data is being accessed or transferred. This could result in loss of data and/or damage to the memory card or to the handset.
To transfer audio files using Windows Media Player and a USB cable follow the steps below:
The Sync Music option allows you to transfer music files from your PC directly to the handset. In order to use this option, you must have Windows Media™ Player 10 on your PC. Windows Media™ Player 10 is only compatible with Windows XP® operating systems. Note: Windows Media™ Player 11 is not compatible with the Sync Music feature.
