Does My Qwest SPH-M520 Support The Use Of MP3s?
Yes, the SPH-M520 handset does support the use or playback of MP3’s through the Media Player. However, before playing the MP3, you MUST first save the MP3 file in a folder named Media on the MicroSD memory card in order to be accessed. Of course, a limitation encountered often is not enough free memory to save the MP3s to the memory card. Note: Memory cards with 2 GB, or more, storage capacity will not work with the Qwest SPH-M520 handset
To play Memory Card MP3's using the handsets Media Player follow the steps below:
NOTE: The Media Player does not necessarily support all features of a particular file format nor all the variations of those formats. The Music Player includes support for Digital Rights Management (DRM) which allows you to play some purchased or subscription content. Copyright protections may prevent some images, music (including ringtones) and other content from being copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.
MP3's may also be available for download from the Sprint PCS Digital Lounge. Please contact your service provider for more details.
