How Do I Use Voice Dial On My MetroPCS SCH-R560 (Messager II) Phone?
Nuance VoiceSignal is advanced speech recognition software that can be used to activate a wide-variety of functions on the handset. VoiceSignal software automatically voice activates all contacts for voice dialing and searching, no pre-recording or training needed. Speak phone numbers naturally to dial, and use voice commands to launch applications and navigate phone menus.
Please Note: Voice dial recognizes the digits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and zero or oh. It does not recognize numbers such as “one eight hundred” for “1-800.” Instead, say “one-eight-zero-zero.”
To initiate a Voice Dial session follow the steps below:
When the MetroPCS SCH-R560 (Messager II) handset recognizes one of these commands, it launches the associated application. If Voice Command is not absolutely confident that it has correctly identified a name or number, it can display a choice list of up to three possibilities, and prompt you to confirm the correct one. If the phone does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, Voice Dial immediately places the call. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the phone prompts you with “Which Number?” and displays a list of options. Select an option by speaking it into the microphone.
