How Do I Use Voice Dial On My Helio SPH-A523 (Mysto)?
Voice Command advanced speech recognition software can be used to activate a wide-variety of functions on the Helio SPH-A523 (Mysto) handset. No pre-recording or training is needed. Voice Commands allows you to dial numbers, look up contact information, and open applications using your voice.
Note: The handset recognizes the digits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and zero or oh. The phone does not recognize numbers such as “one eight hundred” for “1-800.” Instead, say “one-eight zero- zero.”
To initiate a Voice Command session follow the steps below:
Voice Commands works well for most people without special adaptation. However, people with strong accents or unique voice characteristics may receive better results if they follow these tips:
When it recognizes one of these commands, the Helio SPH-A523 (Mysto) handset launches the associated application. If the phone does not hear a voice command within 5 or 10 seconds (Depending on the Time-out setting), it deactivates Voice Command voice recognition without taking any action.
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, Voice Command immediately places the call. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the handset prompts you with “Which Number?” and displays a list of options. You can then select which phone number to call by speaking it.
