What Are USB Settings And How Do I Use Them On My Helio SPH-A523 (Mysto)?
USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a type of plug-in connection that is used to connect devices, including some handsets, to desktop or laptop PC's. In a handset, USB is useful for quickly transferring files to and from phones, or for synchronizing information with a PC application.
The Helio SPH-A523 (Mysto) handset has the capability to transfer files directly from a PC to the handset or a memory card, residing in the handset, using a compatible USB cable. There is a configurable USB setting required before transferring files, via an USB cable, the USB Disk Mode (Mass Storage) setting.
To enable the USB Disk Mode setting follow the steps below:
Note: All other handset functions are disabled while in USB Disk Mode
Note: A microSD™ memory card must be inserted into the handset for the Media player and Mass Storage options to function properly.
Please Note: The Media Player does not necessarily support all features of a particular file format or all the variations of those formats. The Media Player includes support for Digital rights Management (DRM) which allows you to play some purchased or subscription content. Copyright protections may prevent some images, music (including ringtones) and other content from being played, copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.
