If you have connected your monitor to the video card on your computer using a DVI cable, you must use digital input mode. Your monitor will not work if you select analog mode.
Note: Some video cards offer both D-sub and DVI jacks. If yours does, depending on you monitor, you can use one or the other or both. If you connect both, you can switch from one to the other. See below for instructions.
In most cases, the monitor will automatically select the correct input mode. If it does not, you can select the correct input mode on most digital/analog Samsung LCD monitors by pressing and holding the Exit button on the monitor for about five seconds while the on screen display (OSD) menu is off. Pressing the Exit button alternately selects analog and digital. The Exit button is usually the second button from the bottom if the control buttons are arranged vertically or the second from the left if the buttons are arranged horizontally.
On some of the newer and larger Samsung LCD monitors, you press the Source button to select the display source. As you press the Source button successively, you toggle through all the available sources: PC Analog, PC Digital, Video, S-Video, etc.
