How Do I Use Voice Dial On My SPH-A500?
Using the voice-activated dialing option, on the SPH-A500 handset, requires that you first program the phone to recognize the name of the individual or company you are calling. Voice Dial is always active once you have programmed the SPH-A500 handset with Voice Dial entries. You can call up to 10 stored entries by speaking the individual’s or company’s name into the microphone.
Press and hold the “TALK” button or the speakerphone button, located on the right side of the SPH-A500 handset
The VoiceSignal “Say a Command” menu appears (The phone prompts you to say a voice command.)
Wait for the beep and then say one of the following commands:
When it recognizes one of these commands, the SPH-A500 handset launches the associated application. If the phone does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.
