Nuance VSuite 3.1 is advanced speech recognition software that can be used to activate a wide-variety of functions on the Cricket SCH-R710 (Suede) handset. Voice Recognition software automatically voice activates all contacts for voice dialing and searching, no pre-recording or training needed. Speak contact names or phone numbers naturally to call, and use voice commands to launch applications.
Note: Voice command recognizes the digits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and zero or oh. The phone does not recognize numbers such as “one eight hundred” for “1-800.” Instead, say “one-eight zero- zero.”
To initiate a voice command session follow the steps below:
When it recognizes one of these commands, the handset launches the associated application. If Nuance is not absolutely confident that it has correctly identified a name or number, it will display a choice list of up to three possibilities and prompt you to confirm the correct one. If Voice Recognition does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, Voice Recognition immediately places the call, after confirmation. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the phone prompts you with “Which Location?” and displays a list of options. Select an option by speaking it into the handset microphone or by touching on the displayed location.
