How Do I Use Voice Dial On My Cricket SCH-R450 (Messager) Phone?
VoiceSignal is advanced speech recognition software that can be used to activate a wide-variety of functions on the handset. VoiceSignal software automatically voice activates all contacts for voice dialing and searching, no pre-recording or training needed. Speak phone numbers naturally to dial, and use voice commands to launch applications and navigate phone menus.
To initiate a VoiceSignal session follow the steps below:
When it recognizes one of these commands, the SCH-R450 (Messager) handset launches the associated application. If the phone does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.
When the handset recognizes one of these commands, it launches the associated application. If VoiceSignal is not absolutely confident that it has correctly identified a name or number, it can display a choice list of up to three possibilities, and prompt you to confirm the correct one. If the phone does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, VoiceSignal immediately places the call. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the phone prompts you with “Which Number?” and displays a list of options. Select an option by saying it into the microphone.
Please Note: The phone recognizes the digits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and zero or oh. The phone does not recognize numbers such as “one eight hundred” for “1-800.” Instead, say “one-eight-zero-zero.”
