How Do I Transfer MP3's To My Cricket SCH-R500?
The Cricket SCH-R500 handset does support the use or playback of MP3’s through the music player. However, before using the music player, you MUST first save the MP3 file in the My_Music folder on a microSD memory card. (The handset must first format the memory card in order to create the accessible download folders). Of course, a limitation encountered often is not enough free memory to save the MP3 files to the memory card.
Note: To transfer MP3 files, via a memory card, from a PC requires having a microSD Memory Card, Memory Card Adaptor & Memory Card Reader.
To transfer MP3 Files to a memory card follow the steps below:
Please Note: The Music Player does not necessarily support all features of a particular file format nor all the variations of those formats. The Music Player includes support for Digital rights Management (DRM) which allows you to play some purchased or subscription content. Copyright protections may prevent some images, videos, music (including ringtones) and other content from being copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.
Please contact your service provider for all inquiries regarding downloading MP3's.
