How Do I Use Voice Dialing On My Cricket SCH-R500 When Using A Bluetooth Headset?
To initiate a VoiceSignal® session, with a Bluetooth headset, follow the steps below:
When it recognizes one of these commands, the Cricket SCH-R500 handset launches the associated application. If the handset does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.
Tip: VoiceSignal® recognizes the digits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and zero or oh. It does not recognize numbers such as “one eight hundred” for “1-800.” Instead, say “one-eight zero- zero.”
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, VoiceSignal® immediately places the call. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the phone prompts you with “Which Number?” and displays a list of options. You can select an option by saying it or by using your keypad.
