The Samsung GALAXY Tab (SPH-P100) contains a wide array of controls to manage when notifications are sounded, what sounds are associated, and much more. Please see one or more of sections below to learn how to manage the various settings.

Note: The System volume is also the setting used that when the tablet sounds powering on or off. It is sometimes refer to as Startup or Shutdown volume.
Changing Audible Touch Tones, Audible Selection, & SD Notifications
The device also supports other types of notifications and tones. The below listing give a brief description of what they are.
Audible touch tones: The device emits a sound when a selection is made on the device. This has been referred to in other devices as Keypad tones.
Audible selection: The device emits a sound when number is pressed on the dial pad.
SD Notifications: The device emits a sound whenever a microSD card is inserted or removed.
Haptic Feedback & Intensity
Haptic feedback,when enabled, provides a slight vibration when you interact with the display.
Haptic feedback vibration intensity can be adjusted to 5 different levels control the vibration being felt.
Deleting Custom Sounds Or Ringtones From The Device
Preloaded ringtones and notification content cannot be deleted under normal cirumstances. To delete other files that have been added follow the sample steps below:
Note: It may be necessary to repeat the procedures if you have files stored in multiple folders and locations.
