How Can I Make My SPH-I300 Work With My Macintosh?
Please be certain that you have Palm Mac Desktop 2.6.1 installed. This is the only version that will allow the SPH-I300 to work with a Macintosh. Please contact PalmONE at http://www.palmone.com for information on the availability of obtaining this version.
If you have the correct version of the Palm Desktop and are still having trouble try the following:
On the I300:
On the Macintosh computer:
From the HotSync tab, the HotSync process should be Enabled.
From the Serial Port Settings tab, the Local Setup port should have PalmConnect USB selected.
Make sure the correct version of the Palm Desktop for the Mac is installed. Please contact PalmONE at http://www.palmone.com for information on the availability of obtaining this version.
**It is also critical that you determine that current USB drivers are installed for the serial to USB converter.
If after following the procedures above, you are still having difficulty, it would be something that you should call in for assistance to troubleshoot.
