How Do I Use Voice Dial On My SGH-T439?
VoiceSignal® is advanced speech recognition software that can be used to activate a wide-variety of functions on the SGH-T439 handset. VoiceSignal® software automatically voice activates all phone book contacts for voice dialing and searching, no pre-recording or training needed. Speak phone numbers naturally to dial, and use voice commands to launch applications and navigate phone menus.
Note: VoiceSignal® recognizes the digits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and zero or oh. The phone does not recognize numbers such as “one eight hundred” for “1-800.” Instead, say “one-eight zero- zero.”
To initiate a VoiceSignal® session follow the steps below:
When it recognizes one of these commands, the handset launches the associated application. If VoiceSignal® does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, VoiceSignal® immediately places the call. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the phone prompts you with “Which Number?” and displays a list of options. You can select an option by saying it or by using your keypad.
