How Do I Use Voice Dialing On My MetroPCS SCH-I220 (Code) Phone When Using A Bluetooth Headset?
Microsoft's Voice Command™ advanced speech recognition software allows you to say commands to perform common functions supported by the MetroPCS SCH-I220 (Code) handset. There is no voice training required to use the voice recognition feature. Speak phone numbers naturally to dial or use voice commands to launch applications.
Note: Microsoft's Voice Command must be enabled prior to initiating a voice command session
Tip: Visit http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/voicecommand/default.mspx for additional information, including a Voice Command demo
Note: Voice Command recognizes the digits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and zero or oh. The phone does not recognize numbers such as “one eight hundred” for “1-800.” Instead, say “one-eight zero- zero.”
To initiate a Voice Command session, with a Bluetooth headset, follow the steps below:
When it recognizes one of these commands, the MetroPCS SCH-I220 (Code) handset launches the associated application. If the phone does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, Voice Command immediately places the call. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the phone prompts you with “Call John” then announces and displays a list of options. Simply select an option by speaking it into the handset microphone.
