The Music application lets you play music files stored on your device or optional microSD™ card. The Music application supports the following music file types: AAC, AAC+, AMR, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, eAAC+, EVRC, FLAC, MID, MP3, MP4, OGA, OGG, QCELP, WAV, and WMA.
Touch a song in your library to listen to it. The song will begin playback with basic controls at the bottom. You can continue to navigate the application, and the basic controls will remain at the bottom of the screen.
Touch the thumbnail of the album art in the bottom-left corner to be taken to Now Playing view. Touch Back to return to the previous view.

In this example, we are using Windows® 7. Accessing your device from your computer using Media device (MTP) and Camera (PTP) mode is similar to accessing a USB mass storage device.
Note: You may be prompted to Convert and Copy if the files you are copying are not supported by the device.

The music player will continue in the background, even if you exit the application.
From any screen, while the music player is playing, swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom to open the Notification Panel.
Touch to stop playing music.
Note: You can also stop playback while in the Music application by touching Menu > End while the music is playing.
Music square creates a playlist depending on your mood. Simply touch a square on the grid, and Music square will analyze the tempo of the songs in your library to match your mood. To play multiple songs, touch and drag your finger across multiple squares. Touch and hold a square to view the playlist.
By default, Music square is not displayed. You can show it by touching Menu > Settings > Music menu. Mark the Music square checkbox and touch Done. Touch the Music square tab.
Four tempos or moods are available: Exciting, Calm, Joyful, and Passionate. You can switch the horizontal axis to New and Old by touching Menu > Change horizontal axis > Years.
Before using Music square, you will need to have a minimum of 25 songs stored on the device or microSD card, and you will need to update the library. To scan the library for songs recently loaded, touch Menu > Library update.
