How To Download Free Apps To Your Blu-ray Player (BD-F Models)
Page 1. App Download
You will need:
Smart Hub installed and activated, for step by step instructions click
A network connection to your player
Note: It is not necessary to create a Samsung Smart Account ID to download
free Apps, but you will need one in order to purchase Apps.
To download free Apps follow the steps below.
Power on the player and wait
for the Home Menu to display.
Alternatively you can
press the Smart Hub button on your remote.
Highlight the Apps panel
and then press enter. Smart Hub launches.
The Recommended Apps row is
automatically highlighted. Use the right arrow on your remote to move to
the Samsung Apps icon and then press enter.
The Samsung Apps store then
launches. The What's New section is automatically highlighted. Use the navigational
arrow buttons on your remote to select any of the free Apps available.
Use the right or left
arrow buttons to move through the What's New section and view recently
Use the down arrow to
move to the Search Bar, Most Popular, or to view each of the categories
Each App will display if
it's Free, Installed, or the price it costs to purchase. In this example
we will be downloading a game App. Once the App you want to download is
highlighted, press enter.
The App information screen
displays. Here you can read details about the App, see screenshots of the
App in action, as well as view current player Memory Usage. Your player comes with
629.43 MB of available memory, Smart Hub and pre-installed Apps will take
about 50-70MB depending on the number of pre-installed Apps and whether
or not you have deleted any of them.
Download is automatically
highlighted, press enter to begin download. This process can take from a
couple of seconds to about a minute depending on the size of the App and
your network speed.
the App has downloaded Run is automatically highlighted. From here you can
either run the App and begin using it, or you can press the return button
on your remote to go back to the Samsung Apps store and continue downloading
more free Apps. If you need to exit just press the exit button on your remote
control to return to the player Home Menu.
downloaded Apps, whether purchased or free, will be listed in the My Apps
section within Smart Hub.
Apps can be moved to the My Apps section by going to More Apps>Options
My Apps>Highlight the App and then press enter.
Apps cannot be deleted or re-arranged.

under My Apps can be re-arranged. Select More Apps>Options Icon>Edit
My Apps> Select App under My Apps to move.
