To use your device to the fullest extent, you will need a Google Account. A Google Account keeps Google applications such as Gmail™ and Google Play™ Store in sync. You may already have a Google Account if you are already using Gmail or Google+™, or if this isn't your first Android™ powered device. If you do, you can skip to this section.
If you don't have a Google Account, you can create an account from your device.
Note: Steps may differ if an existing account is already on your device.

When you first turn on your device, you will be asked to sign in to your Google Account. If you chose not to sign in at that time or you have additional Google Accounts you want to add to your device:
If you decide later you want to change the information synchronized from your Google Account, you can edit the settings. From the Home screen, touch Apps > Settings > Google . Touch your Google Account name, and mark the checkboxes for the content items available.
Note: From this screen, you can also remove your Google Account from your device by touching Remove account.
