The Calendar application makes it easy to manage all your scheduling directly on the device. You can add an event directly to your online account for easy synchronization.
To access Calendar, from the Home screen, touch Apps > Calendar . There are multiple view options available on the right side of Calendar. You can view by the Year, Month, Week, Day, List, or Task. The default is Month view.
To quickly add an event to a date, touch the date of the event twice, and enter the title. For example, enter "Birthday party at 1 pm" and touch OK. A new calendar event will be scheduled for all day. If you are viewing the calendar's Day view, you can touch and hold the time you want to quickly add an event to, enter "Birthday party at 1 pm," and touch OK. A new calendar event will be scheduled for one hour. Touch Edit event details to access all the event options.
To delete multiple entries, from the Calendar app, touch Menu > Delete. Mark the entries you wish to delete, and touch Delete > OK. The view you are in (Year, Month, Week, Day, List, or Task) will determine which events will be available to delete. For example, if you are in Month view, you will see only events listed for the selected month.
When you are deleting a repeating event, you need to select additional options. Open the event in Detail view by touching it in any of the calendar views. Touch Menu > Delete. Select Only this event to delete just the selected event. Select This and future events to delete the selected event and all future events. Select All events in series to delete all instances of the event from your calendar. Touch OK to confirm the event deletion.
Note: Some events cannot be deleted from the calendar. If an event originated from another application (for example, for birthdays and events added to your calendar from your contacts), you will need to delete the event in the originating application.
Open Calendar and touch Menu for the following options:
