In My Media you can manage and track the download process of your programs from one screen. Downloads will be prioritized in the order they are initiated. To start downloading a piece of content farther down the line, simply touch the blue Play button found next to the active download, and touch the blue Pause button to activate the download you desire. To bring up the My Media Options menu, touch the Menu key on your device while in the My Media section of the application. The management options will be shown.
Once a program has finished downloading, the selection will have a white lock symbol on the Play icon, if you haven't already started watching the content as it has been downloading. To play back the content while offline, you must be on an active data connection and the lock icon must disappear from the play icon. Once this is done, your media are ready for offline viewing. You do not need to download the entire content item to initiate playback. You will be able to initiate playback almost immediately and will be able to watch the content up to the current download point.
Note: You can watch your program while it is downloading as long as the play button is enabled and not grayed out.
You will be able to browse through multiple movie genres like Action, Comedy, and Family. Select a genre and begin scrolling through the various movie selections within that category. Once you select a movie, you will be allowed to watch the trailer, purchase the movie, or rent the movie for a period of 24 to 48 hours, depending on the title. The media can be viewed within 30 days of purchase on one device.
Note: Some media may not be available to be rented, as this is determined on a per-studio-title basis. Television shows are available only for purchase, and the Preview option is available only for certain networks and shows.
Content may be purchased for a fee. Some media may be available only for purchase. When content is selected to Buy, you have unlimited viewing and activations to play the content on a registered device.
Note: Content is subject to blackout dates from the content providers, and you must download content before these dates.
After selecting Movies, you will be able to browse through multiple movie genres like Action, Comedy, and Family. Select a genre and begin scrolling through the various movie selections within that category.
After selecting TV Shows, you will be able to scroll through the various television networks (MTV, Paramount, Warner, NBC Universal, etc.) and search for your favorite shows. You will even be able to catch series premieres and new episodes the day after they air. You can purchase whole seasons or individual shows.
