Bon-Joon Koo was named president of SAMSUNG South Africa in February 2006. Mr. Koo is charged with overseeing the company operations in sales and marketing of related products in South Africa and its 12 neighbouring countries.

During his tenure, Mr. Koo has spearheaded the setting up of the CE, IT and Telecommunication business within SAMSUNG South Africa which included establishing channels, identifying distributors and defining the market.

Mr. Koo has served in various posts since he began his career with SAMSUNG in 1983. He previously served as Head of service centre in Tokyo, Japan and Managing Director of SAMSUNG Amman, Jordan.
