Samsung delivers festive cheer to by offering guaranteed rewards with selected purchases

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – 04 November, 2016 – The Festive Season is rapidly approaching and to celebrate this, Samsung Electronics South Africa has announced a promotion that will reward consumers with unique holiday options. The difference here is that consumers who purchase selected refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers or oven packages* are guaranteed a reward.

“This campaign was created to thank our customers for their continued support and loyalty to Samsung. We appreciate the trust they place in us and are excited to reward consumers during the season of giving,” says Michael McKechnie, Director of Digital Appliances at Samsung Electronics SA.

Every consumer who purchases one of the selected Samsung home appliances will receive a guaranteed reward. There are three reward tiers which will determine the experience that consumers are entitled to.

Gold Tier:

Domestic return flight voucher to the value of R12 000 or a weekend away for two at an African Pride Hotel for buying selected refrigerators.

Silver Tier:

Domestic return flight voucher to the value of R7 000 or a weekend away for two at a Protea Hotel Fire & Ice by Marriott for the purchase of selected refrigerators or washing machines.

Blue Tier:

Domestic return flight voucher to the value of R4 000 or a weekend away for two at a Protea Hotel by Marriott when purchasing selected refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers or oven and hob packages.  

To receive their experience, consumers need to follow a simple process:

1.     Purchase a qualifying Samsung Home Appliance within the promotional period and retain the proof of purchase;

2.     SMS the Samsung product model code to 45916 before 31 December 2016 to claim the reward;

3.     A return SMS will provide a link to the reward redemption website. Complete the online form, upload the proof of purchase as well as a photograph of the serial number on the product and submit. Thereafter an automated email will be sent to the consumer to confirm their entry; and

4.     Once the entry has been verified, consumers will receive a reward registration PIN code via SMS along with the number of the Samsung Concierge Service in order to book their reward.

“It isn’t often that a consumer gets a free flight or holiday when they buy a specific home appliance. This promotion is unique in that every purchase of a participating appliance will be rewarded and we believe this will give buyers a genuinely memorable experience this festive season. Samsung truly values its customers and this is our way of giving back and showing our appreciation,” concludes McKechnie.

The campaign runs from 21 October 2016 until 31 December 2016 at any participating retailer.
