Buttons are not working when my Samsung dishwasher is turned on
If the buttons on your Samsung dishwasher’s control panel are not working when the dishwasher is turned on, then it is most likely because Control Lock has been accidentally enabled. The Control Lock function will lock all buttons except for the POWER button, in order to prevent children from playing with the dishwasher. You will need to disable Control Lock so you can use your dishwasher’s buttons and cycles again. If you cannot disable Control Lock, you can also try resetting your dishwasher.

Step 1. Turn the dishwasher on, and then press the Option button.
Step 2. Navigate to the Child Lock option by using the Left or Right buttons.
Step 3. Press the Start button to enter the sub-menu.
Step 4. Using the Left or Right buttons, select On (function enabled) or Off (function disabled).
Step 5. Press the Start button to save the new setting.
If you are still unable to use the buttons on your dishwasher after following the instructions in the above sections, you can try resetting your dishwasher.
