Galaxy S5: cannot play video files from Internet through 3G or LTE Data network
Q: I cannot play video files from Internet through 3G or LTE Data network. What's the problem?
A: Please check whether Block back ground data feature of Power saving mode on device is enabled. Keep in mind that if you enable the Power saving mode, the Block background data feature will be auto-enabled. Enabling this option may affect the performance of some applications which need the data network to work in the background.
Note: the Block background data feature saves battery power by blocking background data.
Perform the following steps to disable the block background data:
1. In the Settings area, tap on "Power saving".
2. Tap on "Power saving mode".
3. Drag to right to enable "Power saving mode"
4. Check the Block background data feature and Un-tick the option.
