How to transfer information from my mobile phone to my friends’ phone
To be searched from other BT (BlueTooth) device, BT of GT-S8000 (Jet) handset should be activated and its visibility value should be set to ON.
There are two ways to transfer files via BT. One is using send via BT menu in the files. (OPP) The other is browsing the device and downloading the files that user want to get.(FTP)
1. Using send via BT menu (OPP)
NOTE: What is BT menu?
You are allowed to call someone or send files via Bluetooth. This functioins is called BT menu.
a. Tap Menu.
b. On the Menu screen, go to My files or Photo contacts.
c. Select the file to send. (The 3rd picture shows you selecting a photo.)
d. Select “send via Bluetooth” option menu.
e. Enter the BT menu (tap the middle picture on your screen). Your device will search for BT devices.
f. Select the BT device that you want (the 7th picture).
g. Enter the PIN number and tap Done. Your device will transfer the file.
2. Browsing the device and downloading the files (FTP)
a. Tap Menu.
b. Go to Bluetooth menu on the Menu screen.
c. Tap BT to turn it on and your device will search for the BT devices.
d. Connect the BT device you want (using “connect” option or drag the device icon and drop it to the BT center).
e. Tap Browse files and download the files you want.
