When I try to upgrade my device, Kies is not seeing my device. What’s the problem?

A : Kies does not support all Samsung devices. If you are having problems connecting to Kies with your device, check your device's support page to see if Kies supports it. If you have used Kies with your device before, or you have confirmed your device is supported by Kies, below are some steps you can take to establish a connection with Kies on your computer.

 

Try these steps before using the Kies connection troubleshooter.

1.Disconnect the device and data cable from your computer, then reconnect.
2.If you are connecting the USB cable to a USB hub, try connecting the cable directly to your computer.
3.Close Kies and reopen the application.
4.Reboot your computer and your device.
