Do Any Samsung LCD TVs Accept A 1080p Signal?

Last Update Date : Apr 20. 2018

For the 2008 LCD TVs, all 530, 540, 550, 650, 750, 850, 860, and 950 series TVs (for example, LN46A550, LN40A650, LN46A750), except the LN32A540, accept a 1080p television signal through HDMI and Component input. In addition, they also accept a 1080p video signal through the PC input.

For the 2007 LN-T series LCD TVs, those TVs with 61, 65, 66, 69, 71, or 81 as the last two digits of their model number (for example, LN-T4061F, LN-T4065F) accept a 1080p television signal through HDMI, and, in most cases, Component input. In addition, they also accept a 1080p video signal through the PC input. What's more, all LN-T series Samsung LCD TVs accept a 1080i (interlaced) television signal.

For the 2006 LN-S series LCD TVs, only those TVs with 95 or 96 as the last two digits of their model numbers (for example, LN-S4095D, LN-S5296D) accept a 1080p television signal, and only through Component and HDMI input. However, all LN-S series Samsung LCD TVs accept a 1080i (interlaced) television signal.

None of the 2005 LN-R, 2004 LT-P, or earlier Samsung LCD TVs accept a 1080p television signal.
