I Can See DVD Video but Not VHS Video.

Last Update Date : Apr 20. 2018

If your DVD-VCR combo is connected to the television with either the S-Video or Component Video outputs, you must also connect the unit to the television with either the RF (coaxial cable) or Line Out (composite video, yellow-red-white cables) outputs.

The player will output only DVD playback to the S-Video or Component Video connections. It will not output VHS playback or broadcast programming (cable, satellite) to the S-Video or Component Video connections.

To view broadcast or VHS playback, switch the television's signal source to either Cable (if using the RF connection) or Line In (if using composite video) to view broadcast and VHS playback.

To view DVD and VHS output on the same connection:

  • DVD-VR325, Use HDMI, Composite Video, or RF.
  • All other combo models: Use Composite Video or RF.

Connection Types

RF (Coaxial Cable, Antenna)
