Is The Buzzing Sound My Plasma TV Making Normal?

Last Update Date : Apr 09. 2018

The buzzing sound your plasma TV makes is normal. It's caused by the electrical charges that are used to create the images on the screen. The buzzing, however, should not be so loud that you can hear it when the volume on the TV is set at normal levels.

If the buzzing sound is loud, you may have set the brightness on the TV too high. To decrease or eliminate the buzzing, try setting the brightness lower. You can also have loud buzzing if the back of your Plasma TV is too close to a wall or other hard surface. To decrease the buzzing, try moving your TV away from the wall.

If neither of these suggestions work, you may need to get your TV serviced. To arrange a service appointment, call Samsung Customer Care at 0860-Samsung (0860 726786) any day between 0800hrs to 2000hrs. Have the model number and serial number of your TV on hand when you call.
