 The Display Or Power On My HDD MP3 Player Keeps Turning Off.

 

The HDD MP3 Players have a feature in the Settings Menu which turns the LCD Display off after periods of inactivity.  The LCD display can be set to Always on, 30 Seconds, or 1, 5, 10, and 15 minutes of inactivity.  This will prolong the battery life.  

 

(This procedure will work for most HDD models.  If this procedure does not work for your model, please see your User Guide)

 

Adjusting The LCD Off Time

 

  1. Press [Menu]
  2. Scroll down to settings and press [Select]
  3. Scroll down to [LCD Off Time]
  4. Press [Select] until the desired setting appears.
  1. Press [Menu] to go back to the main menu.
    When the LCD Display turns off, press any button to turn it back on.

 

 

The Power Keeps Turning Off

 

The HDD MP3 Players also have a feature in the Settings Menu which powers the entire unit off after periods of inactivity.  The Auto Power Off can be set to Always off, 30 Seconds, or 1, 5, 10, and 15 minutes of inactivity.  This will prolong the battery life as well.   

 

Adjusting The Auto Power Off Feature

 

  1. Press [Menu]
  2. Scroll down to [Settings] and press [Select]
  3. Scroll down to [Auto Power Off]
  4. Press [Select] until the desired setting appears.
  5. Press [Menu] to go back to the main menu.
    Press any button to turn the power back on. .

     

 

If the backlight or display will not turn on at all, but you can still hear music, try to resest the player.  If this does not correct your problem, the unit will require service.  Please contact
