You will need:

  2. USB cable.
  3. Computer.
  4. Latest version of Smart Switch software installed on the computer.
  1. Open 'Smart Switch' on your computer, if need be you can download and install latest version, click here to download Smart Switch.
  2. Connect your Galaxy smartphone to your computer with its USB cable.
  3. Tap 'ALLOW' on your Galaxy smartphone.
  4. Click 'More' on Smart Switch screen on the computer.
  5. Click 'Preferences'.
  6. Select 'Encrypt backup data' and click 'OK'.
  7. Click 'CONFIRM'.
  8. Click 'Backup', create a PIN to encrypt your data.
  9. Wait for your Galaxy smartphone to backup.

  2. USB cable.
  3. Computer.

  2. Connect your Galaxy smartphone to your computer with its USB cable.
  3. Tap 'ALLOW' on your Galaxy smartphone.
  4. Click 'Restore' on Smart Screen on the computer.
  5. Click 'Select your backup data' if you have more than one backup.
  6. Select a backup to restore and click 'OK'.
  7. Click 'Restore Now'.
  8. Check your Galaxy smartphone and enter PIN to decrypt backupdata
  9. Tap 'RESTORE'
  10. Wait for your content to be restored on the Galaxy smartphone.
