Twin Cooling System

Twin Cooling System
Keep your food fresh for a long time with the Twin Cooling system. Two separate coolers maintain freezer and refrigerator conditions independently; therefore it minimises the risk of unpleasant mixing of odours. The Twin Cooling Plus system also helps to ensure your food stays fresh for a long time by helping to maintain the food’s natural moisture.

Water Dispenser

Water Dispenser
A compact refillable water dispenser situated within the refrigerator provides water without taking up excessive fridge space.

Layered Steel

Layered Steel
Love stainless steel, hate the hassle? Layered steel not only looks great, it is also easy to clean, accept magnets, is fingerprint resistant, and has virtually the same look and feel as stainless steel.

Stylish easy open handle

Stylish easy open handle
Freezer drawer opens smoothly with an easy opening mechanism.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design Bought 5 years ago and serviced 5 times, almost every year for the same fault which is icing around the sensor. Would think twice before buying even though it looks good from the outside.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ongoing issues Like many people I was unfortunate to purchase this fridge. I am constantly dealing with the loud noises, attempting to defrost it only to now have it not keeping the fridge cold and ice building towards the bottom of the fridge. Very disappointed in this Samsung product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too many issues We have had the fridge for 6 years and have had problem after problem. First our Ice maker stopped working a few months in. Samsung send out a technician and replaced a part. No issues after that. Then the inner flap on the left hand door has cracked off, so being out of warranty I had to poxy the flap back on, now the bottom hinge where the spring is has cracked off. Poor quality seeing as our parents fridges lasted decades. Disappointed in the longevity of the fridge/freezer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy This is the worst product I have ever purchased I am having the same issue a lot of other people are having with ice building up in the fridge causing it to not function properly. How has there not been a recall yet this item is clearly faulty?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from samsung 579l french door brought this fridge in 2012. Has had ice building up in bottom in and fruit veg baskets for a while now . Have tried turning temp up dwn .. Doesn't help the problem. Is no longer under extended warranty. So now not sure what to do. Looks like this model seems to have this problem a lot. Very disappointed in Samsung for not offering a free service call as is obviously a dud model. How come all of the customers on here are having the same problem ???

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inherit problem of Ice forming Four years old and have to replace it . Ice forms at back of fridge causing temperature not to stay cool. This seems to be an inherit problem with this fridge as there are U-tube videos on how to defrost the ice with a blowdryer which did work for us temporarily until it happened again. Asked a professional who recommended not repairing it as it will happen again . Not good enough !!
