Setting the Time on your Samsung Oven

You may want to change the time on your Samsung oven, or maybe you have just installed it and need to set up the time before it can start running.
Note:

Getting to the Setting:
When you first supply power to your oven, the control panel display will light up briefly. After 3 seconds an icon of a clock and the default time of 12:00 will begin to blink on the display panel. The time will need to be set up on your oven for operation.
If you already have your oven set up but would like to go back and change the time, hold the clock button and follow the steps below. The guide below also applies to those who have just installed their Samsung oven.

If you would like to change the time after the initial setting, please hold down the clock button for 3 seconds and follow the steps above.
When you power on the oven for the first time, the default time of "12:00" appears on the display where the hour element ("12") blinks. Follow the steps below to set the current time.
To change the current titme after this initial settings, hold down the button for 3 seconds and follow the above steps.
When you turn on the oven for the first time, the Welcome screen appears with the Samsung logo. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial settings. You can change the initial settings later by accessing the Settings screen.
*Select your time zone, and then press the Dial Knob.
*Select Next, and then press the Dial Knob.
*Select the day, month, and year. Press the Dial Knob after selecting each item.
*Select Next, and then press the Dial Knob.

- Skip this step if you have connected your appliance to the SmartThings App.
*Set the hour and minute. Press the Dial Knob after selecting each item.
*Select Next, and then press the Dial Knob.

*Guide for first use screen appears. You can select LEARN MORE, and then press the Dial Knob to see the guide or select LATER, and then press the Dial Knob to skip the step.

- If you need to return to the previous screen any time during the set up process, please tap the
back button.
Note:
- If this is NOT your first time setting up the Chef Collection oven, please go to Menu > Settings > Set time to change the time. You can then tap any part of the display to use the number pad to set the time. Press OK to save changes.
If the menu screen appears at first-time use, you can make the initial settings (Language/ Time/Auto Update) by referring to the Settings section.
