Why does the filter warning light turn into pink instead of red?

Last modified : Jun 20. 2018
Chef Collection

Normally, the filter indicator is blue, yellow, or green when you purchase or install your refrigerator depending on the model.

After a use of 1020 L of water, the filter indicator turns light pink (about 5 months). After a further use, close to 1135L of water, it turns red (about 6 months). Thus, when the filter indicator is red, it is due to be replaced. By then, you need to remove old water filter and replace with a new one.

To reset the filter indicator, press and hold Filter Reset button for 3 seconds.
