Using Device Care on my Samsung One UI device

Last Update date : Oct 20. 2020

Device Care is a useful feature that allows you to optimise your device performance. This setting is only available on Galaxy devices operating on Android OS Version 9.0 (Pie) and above. When you open Device Care, your phone will run a diagnostic and give you a score out of 100. This will check for ways the device can be optimised such as removing unnecessary cached files or closing unused apps running in the background. Follow the below guide for more information about Device Care.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary.

If your Galaxy device is operating on Android OS Version 5.0 (Lollipop) to 6.0 (Marshmallow) check out our guide About the Smart Manager feature, for Galaxy devices operating on Android OS Version 7.0 (Nougat) or 8.0 (Oreo) check out What is the Device Maintenance feature? for step-by-step instructions.
