Customising the Quick Settings on my Samsung Device

Are you taking full advantage of the Notification panel? It's not just where you can see all of your new messages and emails, you can use the Quick Settings to toggle on or off lots of settings in your phone. It's quick, easy, and much less hassle than wandering around in the Settings application trying to find the right thing! Follow the below guide to learn how to customise your Quick Panel settings on your Galaxy Phone or Tab.

Screenshots were captured from a Galaxy Note10+ 5G operating on Android OS Version 9.0 (Pie), settings and steps may vary depending on your Galaxy device and software version.

 

1 Swipe down on your screen to access your Quick Settings, then tap on the 3 dots icon
Tap on the 3 dots
2 Tap on Button Order
Tap on Button Order
3 Long press and drag a button to change order or to remove from Quick Settings
Drag button to change order or to remove from quick settings
4 Once complete, tap on Done
Once complete, tap on Done
5 Tap on the 3 dots icon then select the Button grid
Tap on the 3 dots and select Button grid

Please Note: Galaxy devices operating on Android OS Version 10.0 (Q) and above no longer are able to adjust the Button grid.

 

6 Select your preferred Button grid then tap on OK
