Customising the Watch Face on your Samsung Watch

Want to download other cool Watch Faces on your Samsung watch but not too sure? Or maybe you want to create your own watch face using images saved in your Gallery? Check out the below guide to learn how to download different watch faces via the Galaxy Wearable app or through your smartwatch, purchasing Watch Faces from the Galaxy Store, and customising faces.

Before following the below steps, ensure that your Samsung watch is paired to your Smartphone and you are connected to an internet connection - either a Wi-Fi connection or using your mobile data.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary.

Downloading Watch Faces

There are two different ways to download watch faces onto your Samsung Watch, either directly from the watch or via the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone.

Using the Galaxy Wearable app

1 Head into the Galaxy Wearable app

2 Select Watch Faces

3 Tap on Allow and install

4 Tap on Watch Face you would like to download, once complete select again to Apply the watch face

Using the Watch

1 Launch the Galaxy Store app

2 Select Watch faces and tap on the Watch Face you would like to download

Select Watch faces and tap on your preferred watch face

3 Install Watch Face and Agree to the Permission request

4 Allow the download to reach 100%

5 To apply a new Watch Face head into your Settings > Watch Faces > Select Watch Faces

6 Select the Watch Face you would like to apply

Select the watch face your recently downloaded watch face

Purchasing Watch Faces

1 Head into the Galaxy Store app

2 Select Watch > Watch Faces

3 Locate the watch face you would like to purchase then tap on

locate the watch face you would like to purchase then tap on the download icon

4 Allow the following permissions

5 Enter in your Payment details then tap on Pay now

6 If the payment was successful you will be able to view the Samsung checkout with your recently purchased Watch Face

7 Allow the download to reach 100%, then tap on the to apply the Watch Face

Downloading watch face, once complete tap on the play button to apply watch face

Reapplying Purchased Watch Faces

1 Head into the Galaxy Store app

2 Tap on the > My Page

3 Select All

4 Once the Transfer has reached 100% tap on to apply Watch Face

Customising Watch Faces

1 Head into the Galaxy Wearable app

2 Select Watch Faces

3 Tap on Customise

4 Under Background select Gallery

Please Note: You are only able to add images from your Gallery or Camera using the My Photo+ Watch Face. If you select a different Watch Face you may only be able to change the colour or font of the time.

5 Select an image and crop to fit in the Watch Face. Once you're happy with the size of the image, tap on Save

6 Add any other images from your Gallery and customise the font or colour, once complete select Save.

7 Once saved you will be able to view the new Watch Face on your smart watch

Using 'My Style' Watch Face

1 Head into the Galaxy Wearable app

2 Tap on Watch faces

3 Scroll down the page to Wallpaper

4 Tap on My Style > Customise

5 Tap on Camera to capture a photo or select Gallery to select an existing photo saved within your Gallery

6 If you selected Gallery scroll through your list of photos and select your preferred image. If you have chosen Camera simply capture a photo using your Camera app

7 Drag or resize the circle above to choose which colours to use in your background, then scroll down the page and select your preferred pattern

8 Drag or resize the circle above to choose which colours to use in your background. You can then scroll down the page and select your preferred pattern, to Apply the changes tap on Done

9 Scroll across to the page and select the different options to add extra settings or functions to your watch face. Once complete tap on Save

10 Once the watch face has been applied you will be able to view from your Galaxy Watch screen
