How do I Quick Launch the Camera?

Never miss any potential photoshoots or memories when you can quick launch your camera by double pressing the power key or home button - even when your phone is locked. Follow the below guide to learn how to enable Quick Launch to take photos on the go.

No Physical Home button

Pressing power button or side key on Galaxy S10+ and Note10

For Galaxy devices without a home button you can easily Quick Launch your camera by double pressing the Power key. If you are having some troubles Quick Launching your camera, you may need to enable this setting within your Camera Settings.

Quick Launching the camera on the Note10

As the Galaxy Note10 devices have intergrated the Bixby and Power functions to the side key it may be a bit confusing trying to quick launch your camera. Fortunately there are only three quick and easy steps to customising the side key functions.

1 Head into your Settings > Advanced Features
Settings > Advanced Features
2 Tap on Side key
Select Side Key
3 Toggle on Double press function and tap on Quick launch camera

Devices with a Home button

Using the home button to quick launch camera

Galaxy devices with a home button are able to quick launch the camera app by double pressing the home button, if this function isn't working on your device check to make sure this setting is enabled.
