How to use my phone as a flashlight

Use your phone as a torch when you need quick access to some light! There's no need to install flashlight apps on most Samsung phones. Any Samsung device with an LED light near the back camera will be able to act as a flashlight. In most cases, all you'll need to do is set up the Widget on your Homescreen and it will be a tap away any time you need to use your phone as a torch.

The steps below are organised by operating system so it doesn't matter what kind of phone you have, you can take a look by selecting each of the dropdowns to find an image that looks like your phone, or check out our page on How to find out what version of Android my device is running
