How do I set a contact photo on my Note9?

You can set a Display Picture for your contacts which will appear when you receive a call, Phone app, Contacts app, and Messages app.

 

Note: SIM cards cannot store images, so this function will not be available for contacts that are saved on the SIM. 

 

Click on the below options to find out how: 

Taking a photoClick to Expand
Take photos

Launch the Contacts app > tap on a Contact > Details > Camera icon > take a photo > tap on SAVE.

Choose from GalleryClick to Expand
Choose from Gallery

Launch the Contacts app > tap on a Contact > Details > Camera icon > tap on the Gallery icon > select desired photo > adjust cropping > tap on DONE > SAVE.

Choose from Default Images and GIFsClick to Expand
Choose from Default Images and GIFs

Launch the Contacts app > tap on a Contact > Details > Camera icon > tap on the Smiley face icon > select desired image or GIF > SAVE.
