Using Do Not Disturb mode

The Do Not Disturb mode mutes all calls, alerts and media sounds, you can allow exceptions or hide visual notifications using the options provided. You can also set Do not disturb mode to turn on or off automatically at scheduled times, such as during meetings or when you go to sleep.
To enable and customise Do Not Disturb mode, click one of the following options:

Turning On and Off via Quick Settings Click to Expand
1 Swipe down your screen to access your Quick Settings menu and tap Do Not Disturb

1 Head into your Settings and select Notifications

2 Toggle Do Not Disturb on and off

Enable at a later time and dateClick to Expand
1 Head into your Settings > Notifications and select Do Not Disturb

2 Tap on Turn on as Scheduled

3 Select your preferred days to be included in your Do Not Disturb schedule

4 Tap on Set Schedule and adjust the start and end time of your Do Not Disturb schedule.

Tap Done to apply the changes.

Allow exceptionsClick to Expand
1 Head into your Settings > Notifications and select Do Not Disturb
tap on do not disturb
2 Tap on Allow Exceptions

3 Toggle on or off the following options
enabling and disabling your preferred exceptions

When Do Not Disturb is on, sound and vibration will be muted, except for the items you have enabled below;

  • Alarms 
  • Media 
  • Touch Sounds
You also have the option of customising certain contacts, messages or events whilst your Do Not Disturb has been enabled;
  • Calls from - Allow calls from: All, Contacts only, Favourite contacts only or None.
  • Messages from - Allow messages from: All, Contacts only, Favourite contacts only or None.
  • Repeat callers - Allow calls when they are received from the same phone number more than once within 15 minutes.
  • Event/task alerts - Allow notifications from Calendar events and tasks.
  • Reminders - Allow reminders from apps that support them.

1 Launch your Settings > Notifications and select Do Not Disturb

2 Select Hide Notifications
tap on hide notifications
3 Enable and Disable the notification options you would like to be displayed when the screen is turned on and off
Select notifications you would like to hide
