How to use Samsung Cloud on my PC

What is Samsung Cloud?

Samsung Cloud is an online storage space for all of your content. You can use it to sync apps, back up your devices, as well as store photos, videos and more. From the Samsung Cloud website, you can check out all the photos that you've synced and make sure your devices are all backed up.

 

What gets synced:

Calendar, contacts, Samsung Internet, Samsung Keyboard, S Notes, Samsung Notes, Samsung Pass, Gallery and Reminder.

 

What gets backed up:

Calendar events, contacts on your phone and SIM card, call logs, clock settings, Home screen layout, apps, settings, messages, music, voice recordings and documents.

 

How do I add things to Samsung Cloud?

You can sync apps and back up data from Settings > Cloud and Accounts > Samsung Cloud. You can also set up the sync option in the Settings for apps like Gallery and Notes.

 

 

How do I sync my pictures and videos?

To sync photos and videos from your phone or tablet:

1 Open the Gallery app
Open the Gallery App
2 Tap the button and select Settings
Tap the 3 dot menu button and then Settings
3 Switch the Samsung Cloud Sync option on.
Switch the Samsung Cloud Sync option to On

What can Gallery on the web do?

Gallery on the web lets you see and sort all the photos and videos that you have synced with Samsung Cloud. You can also get rid of anything you don't need anymore, or download the photos to your computer to edit or save them.

 

How do I see my photos on a PC?

Log in with your Samsung Account details at http://support.samsungcloud.com/.

 

What about other file types?

Anything you upload to Samsung Cloud Drive will be shown at the SamsungCloud.com website. To send a document or other file from your phone or tablet - select the Samsung Cloud Drive option from the Share menu. It will upload to the Samsung Cloud Drive when your device is in a Wi-Fi network. If you're on the go you can use mobile data to upload the file, you'll just be prompted if you try to send a file while using mobile data instead of a Wi-Fi network.

Download files from Samsung Cloud Drive to a PC

1 Log into Samsung Cloud drive on your computer
2 Find the files you want to download from Gallery or Samsung Cloud Drive
3 Select the Download option at the top right of the page
If you don't see the download symbol, select the download option from the 3 dot menu button instead.
Select the download button in Samsung Cloud Drive
4 Select the files you want to download

Please Note: To download Samsung Notes files, you'll need to first "Share" the notes to Samsung Cloud Drive from the Samsung Notes app

5 Select the Download icon to start downloading
