Set Goals in Digital Wellbeing on my Samsung Phone

Noticing you're spending way too much time on your phone or a particular application and want to monitor how long you are looking at your Galaxy Phone or Tablet? Within the Digitial Wellbeing settings you can easily set yourself some goals to help you spend less time on your phone or on that one particular application. Follow the below guide for step-by-step instructions.

This feature is ONLY available on Galaxy devices operating on Android 10.0 (Q).

Screenshots were captured on a Galaxy Note20 operating on Android OS Version 10.0 (Q), settings and steps may vary depending on your Galaxy device and software version

Screen Time
1 Head into your Settings > Digital Wellbeing
Tap on Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls
2 Scroll through the list of Digital Wellbeing settings
Scroll down page
3 Tap on Screen time
Tap on Screen time
4 Choose the maximum amount of time you would like to spend on your phone each day then tap on Set
Set screen time the tap on Set
Unlocks
1 Head into your Settings > Digital Wellbeing
Head into your Settings > Digital Welling and parental controls
2 Scroll through the list of Digital Wellbeing settings

3 Tap on Unlocks
Tap on Unlocks
4 Choose the maximum amount of times you would like to unlock your phone each day then tap on Set
Set amount of times you can unlock devce then tap on Set
App Timers
1 Head into your Settings > Digital Wellbeing
Select Digital Wellbeing & Parental controls
2 Scroll through the list of Digital Wellbeing settings
Scroll down page
3 Tap on App Timers
Tap App timers
4 Choose an app you'd like to set an App Timer to and select from the preloaded timer or create a Custom time
Select the apps you would like to set an app timer to
5 Once you have exceeded the limit for the day, the selected app will be temporarily disabled until the next morning
