How do I set up a Hotspot on my Galaxy Book S?

Need to share some internet from your Galaxy Book S to your smart phone or tablet? You can enable your Hotspot within the Galaxy Book S settings to access the internet on your other devices. Follow the below guide to learn how to set up a Hotspot on your Galaxy Book S.

 

Before following the below guide ensure you have correctly inserted an active SIM card in your Galaxy Book S. If you haven't inserted a SIM card, check out our guide Installing a SIM Card in your Galaxy Book S for step-by-step instructions. If you haven't activated your SIM card yet, you will need to reach out to your network provider for further support.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung Subsidiary.

1 Click on Network icon at the bottom of your taskbar.
Click on the network icon
2 Click on Hotspot to enable/disable this setting.
Click on Hotspot to enable or disable

3 Right click Hotspot and select Go to Settings
Right click Hotspot and select Got to Settings
4 You will then be able to customise your Hotspot Settings

5 If you would like to change the Network name, Network password and Network band click on Edit
Click on Edit to edit the network name, password and band
6 Enter in the new Network name, Network password and Network band then click on Save once complete.
Enter in the new network name, password and band then click Save
