Using the Edge Panel on my Samsung Phone

Want to easily access apps, contacts, reminders or tools without having to search for multiple apps? Simply enable Edge Panel to conveniently view your most helpful applications and settings. Follow the below guide for step-by-step instructions.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary. Screenshots were captured from a Galaxy S20+ operating on Android OS Version 10.0 (Q), settings and steps may vary depending on your Galaxy device and software version.

Enable Edge Panel
1 Head into your Settings > Display
Settings > Display
2 Select Edge screen
Select Edge Screen
3 Toggle on Edge Panel to enable then tap on Edge Screen for more options.

4 Once enabled you will be able to access and use Edge Panels

Adding other Edge Panels
1 Select the Panels you would like to include to your Edge Panel
Select panels to add to edge panel
2 If you would like to download additional panels tap on Galaxy Store
Tap on Galaxy Store
3 Select between Top, Top Paid, Top Free and New to search through the different Edge Panels
Choose between Top, Top Paid, Top Free & New categories to search for different Edge Panels
4 Tap on download icon to install an Edge Panel
Tap on Download icon to install Edge Panel
Customising Handle Settings
1 Tap on download icon > Handle Settings
Tap on 3 dots > Settings
2 Customise the Position, Style, Transparency and Vibraton of the Edge Panel Handle.
Customise Handle Settings to suit your preference
Rearranging Panel Location
1 Tap on download icon > Reorder
Tap on 3 dots > Settings
2 Drag arrow icons to reorder your Edge Panels.
