How do I prevent the error 'Loading' followed by 'No Disc' on my DVD player?

Last modified : Apr 10. 2018

There are few possibilities why your DVD is unable to recognise the disk. The possible causes may includes:

●  The disc is defective, scratched or dirty

●  The disc is incorrectly formatted

●  The laser lens is dirty blocking the laser reading the disc

●  Hardware issues

Follow the instructions to resolve NO DISC error/issue on your DVD player:

1 Check the disc has been loaded correctly and the tray is free of any foreign objects.
2 Put a different DVD disc into the player and see if the it plays.
3 Clean the laser lens with a DVD player lens cleaning disc

Please make sure you are not using region locked DVD disks (For instance DVD player bought in Australia can only play Region-4 DVD disks). Please note that certain formats are supported by Samsung DVD players.
