Clouded Effects When Displaying Dark Colours on my Samsung TV.

Your Samsung TV may display clouded effects when viewing dark scenes. One of the major contributors to this happening is light reflecting on your TV screen during these scenes.

 

If possible, try placing your TV out of direct sunlight or other sources of light.

 

Another option will be to check the display settings that has been chosen. You can adjust the Picture Mode, Brightness, Sharpness and Colour settings to get the best picture quality according to the current surrounding environment.

 

Try some of the options below to see which works better for you.

Adjusting Backlight

1 From your remote control press the Menu button followed by Settings > Picture > Picture Mode.

2 From the Picture Mode settings, select one of the 4 options that works best for you. It is recommended to start with the Normal setting.

1 From your remote control press the Menu button followed by Settings > Picture > Expert Settings.

2 Once in Expert Settings , you have the option of adjusting the Brightness ,Sharpness or Colour settings.

1 From your remote control press the Menu button followed by Settings > General > Eco Solution.

2 In the Eco Solution settings is an option to turn off/on Energy Saving Mode . Cycle through each level to see which one works best for your TV.
