Why are some menu options on my Smart TV greyed out?

If some options on your TV are unavailable or greyed out, this menu option may not be applicable to the Settings, Source or Cables you are attempting to modify.


Say for example you can’t access the Broadcasting menu – make sure the antenna is plugged in securely. The TV will only allow changes to settings that it can access.


As a general rule, if you’re trying to access the main settings to make changes from within an app rather than TV mode, more settings will be disabled. Select the Source button to ensure you’re on TV mode and you should be able to access all settings.
