Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent enough Been using this for nearly 2 years, does almost everything it's advertised to. Biggest let down is the really poor GPS location without a phone connected (even with phone connected it's unreliable). Standing in a park near the beach for 5 minutes and no location lock, disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful..... please avoid buying. I have had 2 gear fits now and they don't last! This time my strap broke whilst I was jogging and landed on the pavement and scratched the screen. When trying to claim under warranty Samsung refused to fix due to the scratch! Apparently that voids the warranty. I have escalated the issue and finally managed to get Samsung to review my case only to get a call today claiming they have now found some fantasy water damage! If you do some research online you will see Samsung are infamous for finding imaginary water damage to void warranties, Samsung should be ashamed at how they treat their customers. It's a shame because I have Samsung phones, tablets etc but will never buy from them again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DUD I bought two of these 'smartwatches'.. the first one after a week, all the health sensors stopped working eg heart rate, steps etc... Upon returning the 1st one, i purchased a second one..... DEAD on arrival... once again, Heart rate and fitness sensors NOT working.... called Samsung Support to be told.. this is the 'FIRST' we have had do this... my search on the internet suggest OTHERWISE that nearly ALL of these watches are DUDS... with ALL having the SAME issue. NEVER EVER AGAIN, will i purchase a Samsung Fitness band.... Samsung should be recalling these fitness bands.... also i thought the difference between the SMALL and LARGE was the wrist band... but apparently NOT.. if you look at the specs the SMALL comes with only 2Gb(as opposed to 4Gb on the large) and the large is rated to 5atm's waterproofing as opposed to 'swim resistant; on the SMALL. Very poor SAMSUNG... very very poor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid at all cost This watch has a cheap plastic screen that cracks wirh the slightest of knocks and costs as much to replace and purchasing a new one. On top of that Samsung voids the whole warranty so even if anything else breaks from a manufacturing point they will not fix it. For example the wrist band was not correctly put together and so afrer 6 months falls apart they will not fix it. Also battery life is poor.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor product I've had this product for about a year now. The battery life is terrible. Has to be charged every evening so the sleep function is of no use. Having the watch face on kills the battery at a rapid rate. Don't forget to turn off gps otherwise it'll go flat in 12hrs tops. The band is poor quality and has broken after 13months and samsung want $45 for a new one. The glue has failed but isn't covered. Avoid this product at all costs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Durable band, no dongle :-( I got this because I had so many problems with the wrist band on my last tracker. I have had this over 2 months and no issues with the band. I love that it will count sit-ups and jumping jacks as you do them. My main con is that I have not found a way to sync to my laptop. My last tracker had a dongle that would sync everything to my laptop and I could see everything on the web portal. this is the only reason I might go back to the other tracker. The other con is how quickly the battery goes down. My prior brand could go 4 or 5 days - this 1 barely makes it to 2 days.
